Not only because of the wine's pedigree, but also because a select portion of the wine is aged in Bourbon Barrels for 4 months to give it a uniquely Bourbon Oak flavor. These hand-selected barrels are chosen for their distinctive Char level #3 - the degree of fire burn a fresh American Oak barrel has undergone. Not too much, and not too little. Just the right amount to add the flavor nuances of brown sugar and toffee to an already flavorful Cabernet Sauvignon. Truly special indeed.
